A Brief Overview of the Chakras
The Chakras are inside of you! You can think of them as the seven leading energy portals in the body that are constantly spinning. When learning the chakra basics, it is important to understand that each chakra has a specialty about them, and once learned, you can identify each one by simple observations and sensations. All the chakras must be energized and functioning efficiently for all-round wellbeing on all levels of physical, emotional, spiritual.
Chakra categories includes:
Different frequencies, different colors, relationships with various emotional and spiritual issues, connections to different endocrine glands and nerve plexus, different ages in which they develop, different governing elements, different gems, oils, and activities to help balance them.
All the chakras must be energized and functioning efficiently for all-round wellbeing on all levels of physical, emotional, spiritual.
Why is Knowing the Chakras Important For My Health
It is essential to understand the chakra system because it has a direct connection to your physical, emotional, and spiritual well-being. Understanding the functions can help you respond to life with awareness rather than being unconsciously reactive.
The chakras act as a step-down transformer converting subtle energy – prana, chi, Reiki, or any universal energy to be used by the hormonal, nervous, and cellular systems of our physical body.
The food and air you breathe are the fuel for your molecular building blocks in the body to thrive.
Each chakra plays a vital role in understanding your relationships, strengths, and weaknesses. Meanwhile, each chakra also involves our sense of who and what you are in the world.
What is the Crown Chakra
The crown chakra is the last energy portal of the body when working with the traditional Hindu seven chakra system. When it comes to the Crown Chakra it relates to everything that you experience in the mind. You can think of the mind as a stage that brings tragedy alongside comedy, excitement and boredom as you sit in the audience able to identify with the characters – The characters meaning your thoughts.
As you watch this play of thoughts, your mind assimilates experience into meaning and constructs your belief system. It is these very belief systems that create your reality.
The crown chakra is the dimension of the mind, awareness, thought, intelligence and information.
A key concept to understand when working with the crown chakra is enlightenment
Enlightenment
Enlightenment is not a thing yet it is a process. A thing is something to acquire or obtain when a process means something to be. In terms of the chakras enlightenment is obtained when the path of the chakras have been completed. It is an experience of unity with all things and integration of the self.
What Causes Crown Chakra Imbalances
Throat chakra imbalances come from different types of environmental factors. Depending on what you are exposed to or engaged in your day to day activity everyone’s emotional state in the crown chakra can vary. However, there are general feels that can be observed as an imbalance or possibly overactive.

Trace Your Thoughts
Choose to sit or lie down in a meditation pose. Allow your mind to become quiet and calm using whichever technique feels most comfortable to you. As you lay there calmly, pay attention to the thoughts that pass through your mind. Pick on thought and ask yourself where it came from. Many answers may come about during this process, but allow yourself to follow the origin of the thought process. It may be something that is relatively new or something that has happened years ago. Continue to follow the origin and eventually it leads to an infinite source that has no objective or origin.
After that thought has been completed, choose another thought and follow the same sequence going further back on each origin.
Pay attention to your thoughts and how many of them emanate from a similar source. Whether that is an issue you are working with right now in your life, a past teacher, or your own place of connection.
Once you follow through a few thoughts to their origin, start to watch your thoughts go by without choosing one specific one and following it. Just simply let these thoughts pass neither denying nor retaining it. Allow all the thoughts to pass by until there are few or no more thoughts that pass through. Stay in the mind set until it seems appropriate and return slowly back to your normal state of consciousness.
Remove blockages
When tapping into higher frequencies and connecting with you higher consciousness, sometimes it can seem scary because you may encounter what seems to be a ‘darker’ energy. Today, we talk about what happens when ‘dark’ energies come into meditation and what you can do to help identify why you may be encountering this and how to overcome it. Follow todays activity and
take your time. It can be hard
There is always contrast in the world, in order to have dark, you must have light. In order to go up you must go down. This contrast is always happening whether it is an experience, hands on or you witnessing someone else’s dark side and being a part of that lifestyle. It is important to understand that we are not here to just be in the light and only talk in the light, because there is darkness, too that needs to be faced for balance.
Most often, these ‘dark’ energies encountered could be your very own lifestyle and your habits. Something as simple as: Over eating, smoking, drug use, relationships, social media enforcement, environmental, nail biting, excessive obsession, etc.
Think of your own lifestyle and habits and what you could consider to be a ‘dark’ energy around you that you could be carrying and may not even realize.
Just remember, the more you work on your light and remove blockages that you have the more you feel the l
ight and spark inside to feel like your authentic self and can project this on to the world.
Find the Trigger
Write down at least five events that occur the moment the urge for the automatic behavior or habit starts, this then helps reveal the trigger. Ask yourself who else is on the scene, what time of day it is, or what happened immediately prior? After a few days, the cue should become evident.
Identify the Reward
Identify the reward you receive from doing this habit. And though this may be difficult, alter your routine to get a different reward. These alter routines could be fresh air, distraction, or an energy boost. This is a great time to be curious and open to whatever you discover — As you do this, journal your impressions, emotions as the routine wraps up.
Small changes make a BIG difference
A simple tweak to your habit can make a significant difference. For example, if a habit you are trying to break is over eating, and anytime you are at a movie theater getting popcorn whether you are hungry or not hungry, you can eat with your nondominant hand to lessen your urge to want to eat that popcorn.
Affirmations
Stating affirmations allow you to lay down new pathways through the mind and even create new neurotransmitters of positive reinforcement. Making the commitment to affirmations declare wh
at you want and that the will to accept that it is OKAY to have you deepest desires and needs met.
Keep in mind while choosing affirmations, it is important to say them out loud and make sure that it comes easily and natural for you to say. Use this list a guide and feel free to deviate from what is there to make them unique and natural for you.
After the affirmations have been chosen, the goal is to state to yourself daily – multiple times a day.

How Can Meditation Help Me
When meditation occurs, it leaves more room for you to operate and record new information. Also, meditation allows other chakras to open your awareness even wider without getting overwhelmed.
By meditating it allows you to think more clearly, enhance your mood, and have better physical coordination. Through meditation, you can tune out the outside world and cultivate awareness of your inner world.
People who use meditation are known to experience improved academic performance. It also has been found to increase in job production, have a decrease in drug use (both in recreational and prescription), and have faster reaction times.
It is hard to deny that mediation has great rewards.
Mediation is a state of mind, not an effort. Once this state is achieved a few times, it begins to self-create rhythms and have its effect on the world around you. Once it becomes a part of you, it then affects you in healthy ways through sleep and other activities.
Final Thoughts
Everything in and around you is energy! And when something from the outer world affects you on a subtle level, you may experience a plethora of sensations. These feelings may vary from sensations of being sick, uncomfortable, or you may start to have specific pains in areas that you usually would not. Though, sometimes you could also experience pains and aches every day that they never think much about. For example, you may experience pain in your left shoulder but rarely think of this pain because it is always present. Understanding the basic elements of the chakras can enhance your mood, free your mind, and allow you to become closer to the first-rate version of yourself through subtle body energy.
Awesome buddy, mediation is indeed a state of mind, and for sure it is not putting much effort. Once this state is gained a few times, I can testify that, it begins to self-create rhythms and have its effect on the people around us. Once it becomes a part of us, it then affects us in healthy ways through sleep and other activities. I love meditating and it has helped me to deal with so many challenges in life. What is your favorite part of meditation and how do you compare it to prayers?
